Individual, Couples, Family and Child Therapy

Rachel has a wide range of experience, with a focus on Family Systems. She specializes in family and couples therapy, play therapy for children and pregnancy and postpartum wellness. Trained in various parenting models, Rachel incorporates child development, attachment models and parenting education into her work with families, parents and children. She offers play therapy to children ages 10 and under, either in the context of family sessions or independently with children. Rachel works with youth of all ages, but specializes in working with girls and young women.

As a certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor, Rachel works with pregnant and parenting families on their journey of parenthood. She has years of experience working with perinatal mental health and is passionate about this vulnerable time in our lives. As a mom herself, Rachel understands the importance of taking care of mental health during this exciting and overwhelming time of change.

Trained in the Positive Discipline Parenting model, she also offers parenting education, coaching and support, either stand alone or in conjunction with child or family therapy. As an attachment based therapist and trained in infant mental health, Rachel works with parents with young children to strengthen, nourish and heal the parent child relationship. 

Rachel also specializes in working with professionals. As a former CEO of a healthcare facility, she understands the challenges of work-life balance, particularly with highly skilled and successful individuals. Her work with professionals helps to identify the strengths that lead to success in the workplace, and how those skills can be utilized to create more satisfying home and personal lives.

With a focus on Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Systems Theory, and Motivational Interviewing, Rachel uses various interventions and therapies to support individuals in their mental health & wellness goals. Whether one feels stuck, unmotivated or lost, therapy can help identify a roadmap to change.

Rachel is currently accepting new clients, offering individual, couples and family therapy both in person and via telehealth. Telehealth counseling is available for individuals residing in the state of Texas.

Individual sessions - $175

Family & Couples sessions - $200
